Can't look away. If grammar and typos are bad, it's because I CAN'T LOOK AWAY. He's here. Last night, when I was twittering, I opened my bedroom curtains and he was there. Right fucking there. The menace spilling off him was like nothing I've ever felt before. Lashing at my window were those... tendril. Each strike from them cracked the air, they were moving so fast. He's still trying to get in, right now. He's watching me, and I him. I'm terrified if I lookaway that he'll find a way ainside.

I don't know why he hasn't just shown up in here. I don't know why those tendrils don't just rip my window apart. All I know is, supposedly, watching him keeps him from preappearing somewhere else, and I want him outside where I can see him. I don't know what to do. I said I'd fight, but there's no way I could get anywhere close with him throwing those things around. It's a perfect stalemate, except I'm going to fall asleep eventually... God, there has to be something I can do. If I sleep, I die. If I look away, I die. If I fight, I die. If I run, I die. I've made it this far, and all it's come down to is a staring contest that I cannot win. What the fuck do I do? What the fuck.

  1. The tendrils mean nothing. Fight it with everything you are. It hurts people because they let him hurt them.

This is all moot of course, as I'm posting nearly an hour after you have, so you've already made a move.

  2. If it could get to you I have a feeling it would have done so already. You're right when you say that looking at him seems to "stop him", but... well...

You blink. That's really all Mr. Happy needs, I'm sure. My suggestion is simple enough. Do not fear him. Keep the bone close, show no fear, and when you get close strike out with all that you are.

  3. He's just screwing with your head, Damien. He can't hurt you. I have a theory.

I don't think Slender Man is actually a corporeal being. Think about it, have we ever actually seen him do anything? Hit anyone? I can't remember if you ever actually touched him in the crypt, did you? Because if you didn't, then I'm right. And if you did, that leads to my next theory.

Ditch the bone. I think it's making him stronger. Giving him a greater hold here. I don't know if you've researched Logan's unfortunate case, but I recall him saying something to the tune of, "Is he in our world, or are we in his?" I think Slender Man actually exists in a separate dimension from us, and only his hold on us can increase it. At least that's what I thought until you got the bone. I think it makes him corporeal, sort of brings the two dimensions together. When he's near it, he is stronger. Get rid of it, now.

  4. Corporeality means vulnerability.
If he's physically there he can be harmed.

  5. Use the operator symbol it tricks him into thinking someone watches him.

  6. Corporeality also means he can harm, K-OS, while if he exists outside this dimension, he won't be doing anything to harm you other than screwing with your head.

  7. Of course Slenderman can harm us. I've seen too many eviscerated corpses for that to be true.

  8. Oh? Has anyone actually SEEN him eviscerating corpses? If he can just kill you in an instant like that, the question remains: Why doesn't he?

I don't think he can. It's why he needs people like Masky, or the crime-boss fellow Zeke Strahm had to deal with. They are the ones that do the cutting up. The chop-shop theory just doesn't fit with what we know about Slendy. He's all about kidnapping, not killing. Why? Because he actually can't kill. He can't harm you except through your mind. Then, as his hold over you strengthens, he slowly draws you into his world, thus the disappearances. But what if, as I said, the bone reverses that process and draws him into ours? Normally I'd advocate keeping such an object close and using it to finally kill him through applications of copious amounts of military force. But let's be honest: Damien doesn't strike me as the sort of gent who is going to kill Slenderman when they are standing on equal plains. Slendy just has too many over-whelming advantages, and Damien, you just don't have the fire power to overcome that. So get rid of the bone, and beat him on ground where the deck is stacked in your favor: Your head. There, you out-number him.

  9. Regardless of the particulars of what the bone is doing to him, it is easily agreed that it is doing something. Behavior has been more erratic and sightings have been... different ever since Damien got that bone. Whatever it's doing, it could end up being permanent. Slenderman could get stuck in our reality.

Nobody ever wins against Slenderman, they just gradually lose by inches. There's a real chance of changing that here.
